Lonely Lullaby is the third song off of Tufawon's Dream Release project. He speaks about the struggles he has with isolation. Symbolically, he talks about water and how he wishes to flood an empty river bank. This is a metaphor for his yearning to be apart of his community again. He has blissful dreams of being with his people, and it has been a challenge for him to re-socialize after acquiring different levels of trauma. He has dreams that he wishes to manifest. Dreams of starting a family and singing lullabies to his unborn children. Dreams of dancing with his community the way he once did in the past. This healing musical journey helps him get closer to this place of happiness as he poetically expresses his sentiment over a melodic synth based boom bap track he produced himself.

In a manner that minimizes the damage that only humans can Pass through the generations of dissonance
Through the lack of listening enforced misery
I stayed away from company to find a bit of inner peace
And it’s a bitter sweet liberating at the same time quite Isolating hiding from humanity
I tried to write a masterpiece I had to stand and think
Had a stack of paper on the table, didn’t have the ink
Tried start a puzzle couldn’t find a corner piece
Sitting in the corner of my room until I’m half asleep

How can I get away from these melancholy vibes
Listen to some podcasts listen to some naughty by Nature
And it’s maybe in my interest to add Tierra Whack
Into my playlist, I want to fill these spaces
With so many forms of medicine that they provide and let them in
And make a vibe that takes me to a place in time
takes away the pain we face inside we might internalize
Day to day or maybe in our DNA within the blood line
A little bit of joy is what we yearn for
Since I a little boy it’s what I worked for
A dirty little badass kid from the south side snotty nose
Who ever thought I’d be in Europe playin lotta shows
With Nataanii though and I’m reminded of the times
We made progress wrote grants for the tours so it cost less

My favorite time to catch a vibe is right before the night settles in
Let words unravel as my third eye blinks
I think beyond the walls that isolated my thoughts
And kept me from stepping out slumped over on my couch
I want to be apart of you again and dance all night
In the twilight, within the flashing lights

And rhythms that you provoke rotating like the spokes
